Stew Beef
Packages weigh between 1.0-1.1 lbs each.
Stew beef is made from a variety of beef cuts: round, chuck and sirloin. By cooking this meat slowly in a simmering liquid broth, the meat will become soft, tender and flavorful. You can also thicken the broth by first tossing the stew beef in flour before adding to the broth, or by making a slurry with flour and water and slowly adding that to the broth. After cooking the stew beef for about 90 minutes, you can add in some of your favorite stew veggies, like potatoes, carrots and onions. Let simmer for another 30-60 minutes to ensure all vegetables are cooked and tender.
Grass-Fed/Grass Finished Beef. Raised in the Lowcountry.
